Alan has over 30 years of experience in horticulture and has completed several qualifications at the Royal Botanical Gardens Edinburgh.
He has Royal Horticultural Society qualifications in horticulture, Open University qualifications in engineering and design; tree surgery qualifications from NPTC and Lantra, mostly through Treevolution based in Edinburgh. He has completed an apprenticeship in heritage landscape construction and recently attended a course in sustainable living roof construction.
He loves talking about politics and current affairs while getting the job done efficiently.
Chris is a New Zealander with many years of climbing experience.
He is a fully qualified arborist and has a great deal of tree knowledge. He has an MSc in chemistry and has worked on many building projects across the world.
Chris is a careful and meticulous worker who can manage a project from start to finish, your garden is in safe hands when he is around.
Ines spent most of her childhood helping her grandmother in the garden and has now devoted her life to plant-care. She gained experience in growing and maintaining gardens during her first year of a Horticulture degree in Glasgow.
She has gone on to study Horticulture with Plantsmanship at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, which has helped her to develop a deep understanding of horticulture and plant science. She balances study with work for Edinburgh Gardeners, to bring the theory into the practice of plant care.
George is studying for a Bsc in Horticulture with Plantsmanship at the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh, moving up to Scotland from a small village in Rutland.
He has a love of all plant-related things, and especially enjoys growing vegetables and medicinal plants in his own plot. He has years of gardening experience, and he enjoys caring for ornamental plants. George is skilled in lawn care, hedge cutting and pruning, with an eye for detail and interesting specimens.
